Everyone loves a good sunset. I have seen a few amazing ones in my travels but the best I have seen by far have been right out my front door over the paddocks. I’ve rounded up a few of my favourites from the past few weeks.

It’s so easy to take where we live for granted and get caught up in the rat race but I am reminded every night how lucky I am to live on such a beautiful property.

After talking to Lawrence about the blog last night he sighed and said, “It looks good, but you really do have too much time on your hands.”
While I would like to vehemently deny this, I can’t. I have so much time to go treasure hunting and be a lady of leisure, play badminton, watch daytime television, perve on the gardener, eat scones…
I digress, I usually have things I could be doing but choose not to because I am Queen Procrastinator (1988 to present). I prefer to leave assessments to the last-minute ’cause I thrive on the pressure and if it wasn’t for the 11th hour most things in my life wouldn’t be accomplished for a l-o-n-g time.
Lawrence is good at balancing me out; I like to create mess, he likes to clean; I like to cook, he likes to eat; I like to dream, he likes to do; I like to sleep in, he likes to get up early (and can often be heard around midday announcing that the day is already over). It’s a good combo.
